OpenSSL                                         VERSION(1openssl)

     version - print OpenSSL version information

     ooooppppeeeennnnssssssssllll vvvveeeerrrrssssiiiioooonnnn [---aaa] [---vvv] [---bbb] [---ooo] [---fff] [---ppp]

DDDDEEEESSSSCCCCRRRRIIIIPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNN
     This command is used to print out version information about
     OpenSSL.

OOOOPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNNSSSS
     -aaaa  all information, this is the same as setting all the
         other flags.

     -vvvv  the current OpenSSL version.

     -bbbb  the date the current version of OpenSSL was built.

     -oooo  option information: various options set when the library
         was built.

     -cccc  compilation flags.

     -pppp  platform setting.

     -dddd  OPENSSLDIR setting.

NNNNOOOOTTTTEEEESSSS
     The output of ooooppppeeeennnnssssssssllll vvvveeeerrrrssssiiiioooonnnn ---aaa would typically be used
     when sending in a bug report.

     The ---ddd option was added in OpenSSL 0.9.7.
