NAME

libexacct - extended accounting file access library

SYNOPSIS

cc [ flag... ] file... -lexacct [ library... ]

DESCRIPTION

Functions in this library define the interface for reading and writing extended accounting (exacct) files. The header provides type and function declarations for all library services, as well as for the characteristics of accounting files generated by the Solaris kernel. INTERFACES

The shared object libexacct.so.1 provides the public inter-

faces defined below. See Intro(3) for additional information on shared object interfaces.

NOTES The SUNWosdem package provides source code for the exdump

utility that uses the libexacct APIs to dump the contents of

extended accounting files. The source code can be compiled

in the directory /usr/demo/libexacct.
