NAME

hextob, htobsl, htobclear - convert hexadecimal string to

binary label

SYNOPSIS

cc [flag...] file... -ltsol [library...]

#include

int htobsl(const char *s, m_label_t *label);

int htobclear(const char *s, m_label_t *clearance);

DESCRIPTION

These functions convert hexadecimal string representations of internal label values into binary labels.

The htobsl() function converts into a binary sensitivity

label, a hexadecimal string of the form:

0xsensitivity_label_hexadecimal_value

The htobclear() function converts into a binary clearance, a hexadecimal string of the form:

0xclearance_hexadecimal_value

RETURN VALUES

These functions return non-zero if the conversion was suc-

cessful, otherwise zero is returned.

These functions are obsolete and retained for ease of port-

ing. They might be removed in a future Solaris Trusted

Extensions release. Use the str_to_label(3TSOL) function

instead.
