NAME

slapdn - Check a list of string-represented DNs based on schema syntax.

SYNOPSIS

//uussrr//ssbbiinn//ssllaappddnn [[-vv]] [[-dd lleevveell]] [[-ff ssllaappdd..ccoonnff]] DDNN [[......]]

DESCRIPTION

SSllaappddnn is used to check the conformance of a DN based on the schema defined in ssllaappdd(8) and that loaded via ssllaappdd..ccoonnff(5). It opens the ssllaappdd..ccoonnff(5) configuration file, reads in the schema definitions, and

then parses the DDNN list given on the command-line.

OOPPTTIIOONNSS

-vv enable verbose mode.

-dd level

enable debugging messages as defined by the specified level.

-ff slapd.conf

specify an alternative ssllaappdd..ccoonnff(5) file. EEXXAAMMPPLLEESS To check a DDNN give the command:

/usr/sbin/slapdn -f /etc/openldap/slapd.conf -v DN
