NAME

mmiitteemmvvaalluuee - set and get menu item values

SYNOPSIS

int setitemvalue(ITEM *item, bool value); bool itemvalue(const ITEM *item);

DESCRIPTION

If you turn off the menu option OOOONNEEVVAALLUUEE (e.g., with sseettmmeennuuooppttss or

mmeennuuooppttssooffff; see mmeennuuooppttss(3X)), the menu becomes multi-valued; that

is, more than one item may simultaneously be selected. In a multivalued menu, you can used sseettiitteemmvvaalluuee to select the given menu item (second argument TTRRUUEE) or deselect it (second argument FFAALLSSEE). RREETTUURRNN VVAALLUUEE The function sseettiitteemmvvaalluuee returns one of the following: EEOOKK The routine succeeded. EESSYYSSTTEEMMEERRRROORR System error occurred (see eerrrrnnoo). EERREEQQUUEESSTTDDEENNIIEEDD The menu driver could not process the request.
