NAME

ppll - converts between ASCII and binary plist formats

SYNOPSIS

ppll [-iinnppuutt ] [-oouuttppuutt ]

DESCRIPTION

Reads ASCII property list from stdin (or serialized file if -iinnppuutt speci-

fied) and writes ASCII property list to stdout (or serialized file if

-oouuttppuutt specified).

Can be used to convert between ASCII and binary formats. Binary format

is the old-style serialized format, not the keyed-archive format intro-

duced in Mac OS X 10.2. This command is deprecated and exists only for backwards compatibility.

Do not use ppll, use pplluuttiill instead.

OOPPTTIIOONNSS

-iinnppuutt binaryfile

Read from binaryfile instead of stdin.

-oouuttppuutt binaryfile

Write to binaryfile instead of stdout.
