NAME

aattaann - arc tangent function of one variable

SYNOPSIS

double aattaann(double x); long double aattaannll(long double x); float aattaannff(float x);

DESCRIPTION

The aattaann() function computes the principal value of the arc tangent of x.

The result is in the range [-pi/2, +pi/2].

SSPPEECCIIAALL VVAALLUUEESS

aattaann(+-0) returns +-0.

aattaann(+-infinity) returns +-pi/2
