Service Location Protocol Library Functions         SLPFree(3SLP)



NAME
     SLPFree - frees memory

SYNOPSIS
     cc [ flag... ] file... -lslp [ library... ]
     #include 

     SLPError SLPFree(void *pvMem);


DESCRIPTION
     The SLPFree() function frees memory  returned  from  SLPPar-
     seSrvURL(),   SLPFindScopes(),   SLPEscape(),  and  SLPUnes-
     cape().

PARAMETERS
     pvMem     A pointer to the storage allocated by the  SLPPar-
              seSrvURL(),   SLPFindScopes(),   SLPEscape(),   and
              SLPUnescape() functions. pvMem is  ignored  if  its
              value is NULL.


ERRORS
     This function or its callback may return any SLP error code.
     See the ERRORS section in slp_api(3SLP).

EXAMPLES
     Example 1 Using SLPFree()


     The following example illustrates how to call SLPFree().  It
     assumes that SrvURL contains previously allocated memory.


       SLPerror err;

       err = SLPFree((void*) SrvURL);


ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES
     SLP_CONF_FILE    When set, use this file for configuration.
